Duck shooting

On Sunday the 12th Gus,dad and I went duck shooting at three different ponds. The first pond we went to was the dairy farmer next door to the farm that dad works on. On that pond the there were no ducks so we waited in the maimai for about 30 minutes but nothing so we packed up and drove to the other pond to see if the ducks were on that pond but they weren't there so we back into the truck. As we were driving down the lane Gus saw 40-50 ducks just sitting in the paddock so dad tooted the horn to try to get them to our pond. Once we arrived at our pond we saw 50-60 ducks so we sat on the soaking wet chairs. Then we went home empty handed.
