Look how sad she is. You can donate money to them so they can buy food or water. Or you can also donate food, water or blankets so they can get warm at nights. The reason why she is sad because she had to leave her home and country because she is a refugee. She is most likely has been on a boat crossing the rough and cold sea.

Speech

Don’t we all love seeing those lambs springing around in the paddock. Imagine if that disappeared and we were only left with the concrete jungles of cities. I believe that we should have more farmland than city because farming provides food, jobs and conservation of our environment

Farming feeds the world. Without farming there will be no bread, vegetables, meat, or fruit. All food comes off farms in some way - even your McDonald’s starts as a product from farms. Farming makes our food production sustainable and allows us to feed our growing populations.

Farming provides jobs. You know what jobs are like in the city boring, slow and inside. when you work on the farm you get fresh air and free cups of tea. These are some interesting jobs that you will find on the farm, a farm manager, farm worker, vet, shearer, fencer, cook, apple picker you can decide all it takes is passion and hard work.
Did you know that farming helps support the New Zealand economy it creates a lot of diverse businesses from irrigation, farm advisers, contractors and food scientists.

A lot of today's farmers are working hard to protect our environment by planting trees protecting waterways and monitoring  the nitrate leaching.
What better way to help control pests than going for a night shoot with your mates, helping to maintain an even balance between pest control and production which in turn provides better pasture growth and tree rejuvenation.

I’m passionate about farming because it provides food for people, jobs for people and conservation of our environment I want our country to be city free. Let’s use our environment in the best way possible.

Tree house

The tree house
He pointed toward the opening in the tree I'm sure you'll be pleased it surprisingly large once you're inside. As I opened the creepy wooden door there were stairs leading me down to a mysterious black hole suddenly the door slams shut I'm left alone. Then I see a big red switch so I pull it lights like stars fill the walls. Then I end up at a battle field where there are big fingers poking me I looked up and there was a giant kid. I looked around there were starfish sea cucumbers and other types of water animals, I pinched myself it was just a dream.

Duck shooting

Duck shootingImage result for duck shooting

On Sunday the 12th Gus,dad and I went duck shooting at three different ponds. The first pond we went to was the dairy farmer next door to the farm that dad works on. On that pond the there were no ducks so we waited in the maimai for about 30 minutes but nothing so we packed up and drove to the other pond to see if the ducks were on that pond but they weren't there so we back into the truck. As we were driving down the lane Gus saw 40-50 ducks just sitting in the paddock so dad tooted the horn to try to get them to our pond. Once we arrived at our pond we saw 50-60 ducks so we sat on the soaking wet chairs. Then we went home empty handed.

Facts about possums

Possum facts
1. Natural immunity. Opossums are mostly immune to rabies, and in fact, they are eight times less likely to carry rabies compared to wild dogs.
2. Poison control. Opossums have superpowers against snakes. They have partial or total immunity to the venom produced by rattlesnakes, cottonmouths and other pit vipers.
3. Omnivores galore. Their normal diet consists of carrion, rodents, insects, snails, slugs, birds, eggs, frogs, plants, fruits and grains. They also eat human food, table scraps, dog food and cat food. They have an unusually high need for calcium, which incites them to eat the skeletons of rodents and road kill they consume. They're the sanitation workers of the wild.
4. Smart critters. Although many people think opossums are not the sharpest knives in the drawer, there are several areas of intelligence in which they soar. For one, they have a remarkable ability to find food and to remember where it is. When tested for the ability to remember where food is, opossums scored better than rats, rabbits, cats, dogs … but not as well as humans. They also can find their way through a maze more quickly than rats and cats.
5. Pest control. Since their diet allows them to indulge on snails, slugs and beetles, they are a welcome addition to the garden. Opossums also keep rats and cockroaches at bay by competing with them for food. In fact, it’s common for opossums to kill cockroaches and rats if they find them in their territory.
6. All thumbs. The opossum has opposable "thumbs." The opossum's "thumbs"  are on its rear feet and abet the opossum’s formidable climbing skills. Primates and opossums are the only mammals with opposable first toes.
7. Impressive tails. They have prehensile tails which are adapted for grasping and wrapping around things like tree limbs. The opossum can hang from its tail for short periods of time, but the creature doesn’t sleep hanging from its tail, as some people think. Opossums have been observed carrying bundles of grasses and other materials by looping their tail around them; this conscious control leads many to consider the tail as a fifth appendage, like a hand.
8. Good pupils. The eyes of the opossum appear black, but what we are seeing are strongly dilated pupil; there is iris around them, it’s just mostly out of sight. The giant pupils are thought to be an adaptation to their nocturnal habits.
9. Smile! The mouth of an opossum holds an impressive 50 teeth.
10. Natural defenses. When threatened, opossums run, growl, belch, urinate and defecate. And when all else fails, they “play ‘possum" and act as if they are dead. It is an involuntary response (like fainting) rather than a conscious act. They roll over, become stiff, close their eyes (or stare off into space) and bare their teeth as saliva foams around the mouth and a foul-smelling fluid is secreted from glands. The catatonic state can last for up to four hours, and has proven effective as a deterrent to predators looking for a hot meal.

Orange facts

1. It is illegal to eat oranges while bathing in California.
2. Brazil is the largest producer of oranges in the world.

3. The Florida oranges are greener than the California oranges. The warm night climate in Florida causes the chlorophyll pigments to migrate into the orange peel making it more greener.

4. It is possible for more than one plant to grow from a single seed of orange.

5. The ripe oranges that are unplugged from the trees, may turn to green due to a process called re-greening. This effect does not hamper the taste and the oranges nutritional value.

6. Oranges contain more fiber than most fruits and vegetables.
7. Oranges and orange blossoms are a symbol of love.
8. More orange trees are killed by lighting than plant diseases.
9. Oranges were known as the fruits of the Gods. They were often referred as the ‘golden apples’ that Hercules stole.

10. There are over 35,000,000 orange trees in Spain.
